Do you live in wonder? Do you remember being a young child, wondering about the world, and being curious about everything? When we can re-engage with wonder, we can heal the wounds and traumas of the past. Join us for this engaging class to explore how to wonder again. Here are some of the topics we will explore together:
What is wonder? What are the differences between wonder, curiosity, introspection, and the analytical mind?
Does living in wonder impact intelligence?
Why is wonder essential for political change, relationship health, and personal health?
How is wonder the root of all authentic change?
What do fragmentation and wonder have to do with each other?
Debate vs dialogue?

Gratitude for These Bodies!: Self-Image, Appreciation, and Acceptance
March 24th, 31st, April 7th, 14th
6:30 - 7:45p
Join us for a unique and inclusive experience designed to cultivate appreciation for our bodies as they are. "Gratitude for These Bodies" invites participants to explore how cultural influences shape our feelings about our bodies while embracing individual definitions of health. Through a blend of yoga, meditation, group dialogue, creative expression, and, when possible, time outdoors, we’ll nurture deeper acceptance and care for the vessels we inhabit. Whether you're new to yoga, meditation, or group conversations, this welcoming space encourages all to come as they are. Together, we’ll build a supportive community to honor and care for our physical forms.
How might questioning cultural norms about health and beauty help you redefine what "being healthy" means for you?
How often do you take time to celebrate your body for what it can do rather than how it looks?
What if learning to appreciate your body as it is could unlock a deeper sense of self-acceptance and well-being?
When was the last time you truly listened to what your body needs, rather than what society tells you it should be?
What would change in your life if you treated your body with the same kindness and respect that you offer to others?
How can we discover joyful ways to honor and care for our bodies?
Let’s shift from disappointment and shame to love and respect through movement, meditation, group discussions, and activities in a supportive and uplifting community. Somatics, examines cultural beliefs around bodies. Taught by Maggie Mae and April, and Garin will pop in as our guest teacher. Please come a few minutes early to settle in and relax into the space. We will start promptly at 6:30p. Afterward, please feel welcome to stay another 45 min and engage with us in dialogue around the topic, personal journaling, or meditation.
