Greetings!: A Little Bit About ME
As the only certified Conscious Parent Coach in Vermont, I help individuals uncover the root causes of their suffering. In numerous instances, our caregivers and families of origin have not fully nurtured the child within us. This represents the work we undertake collaboratively. Together, we gradually, compassionately, and safely journey and explore our belief systems, triggers, patterns, and attachment styles. By embarking on this shared journey and creating gentle, serene, and secure pathways back into the body, we can unearth all the answers.
The internal family system that exists within us was established for a purpose. At times, these parts may no longer be beneficial for ourselves, our partners, or our children. Through compassion, we can understand the reasons behind the formation of these parts, and we can assure them that they are no longer needed to play such a prominent role in our relationships. Methods of collaboration include individualized sessions or participation in circling groups within the community.
It is within relationships that we learn specific coping mechanisms, and it is through these very relationships that we can heal and cultivate new approaches. Additionally, I offer workshops focusing on various aspects of Conscious Parenting. Participants are encouraged to learn how to feel more connected, attuned, authentic, and committed to their true selves, while also recognizing that exemplifying these qualities for their children will constitute the most valuable lesson they can impart to them.
I am trained by Dr. Shefali Tsabary at the Conscious Coaching Institute. I have certifications from Dr. Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry program, as well as being an IFS-informed coach through both Dr. Dick Schwartz and Dr. Frank Anderson. All of my Emotional Intelligence work has been through Dr. Dan Siegel’s Mindsight Institute. This body of work is called Interpersonal Neurobiology. It brings together scientific disciplines to demonstrate how the mind, brain, and relationships integrate. IPNB views the mind as a process that regulates the flow of energy and information through its neurocircuitry, which is then shared and regulated between people through engagement, connection, and communication.
In addition to Conscious Parent Coaching, I hold an Early Childhood Special Education license in Vermont.
