Yoga & Meditation Day of Exploration

for Absolute Beginners

Curious about yoga and meditation but never felt comfortable enough to take a class? Perhaps you tried one or two classes but felt lost? This event was created specifically for you! All you need is a willingness to try something new.

Love University is offering a welcoming and communal space where you, as a beginner, are met exactly where you are. Allow Maggie Mae, April and Garin to be your guides as we delve into the basics of these ancient practices, making them accessible and fun. The goal is to help you find what works and feels healthy for you. You’ll leave with an understanding of why these practices, when rooted in lightness and joy, will change everything you believe about yourself and the world around you.

When and Where

We have a Day of Exploration about every 6 weeks.

Coming up: Fall 2022

Saturday 9am-5:30pm

65 S Main St, Waterbury, Vermont

Wait, There’s Food!?

Yup, yummy food to keep you movin’ and groovin’.

Mad Taco for lunch, heavily vegan, gluten free, delicious and allergy sensitive options (and of course there will be endless coffee and tea :)).

What to Expect

We’ll share in an open dialogue format about the principles and philosophies of yoga and meditation, leaving plenty of room for discussion and questions. We’ll move between practicing various entry level yoga postures and different styles of meditation. The group will be small enough that each participant will receive individual attention, ensuring proper alignment for each individual’s body. Expect a flow between food, movement, stillness and dialogue.

Recommended donation range: $150-330

We run solely on donations. If making a donation in this range or higher is possible for you, please do. You’re helping us to continue offering activities that are inclusive for all who are ready and open to them. If this range is not possible for you at this time, donate what you can. No questions asked.

Okay, I’ll RSVP and donate now!
