Take a moment to observe the world and the people around you. Everyone seems to be struggling in one way or another - whether it's due to the class and economic system, environmental destruction, wars, or the educational system that stifles children's natural curiosity and wonder. Our impact on the Earth's climate and ecology is also a cause for concern, as is the prison system that punishes poverty and glorifies authoritarian control.

We live in a toxic culture that affects everyone, regardless of their status. This culture teaches us to compete with each other and to pursue success at all costs, even if it means sacrificing our own well-being and that of others. The result is a pervasive sense of disconnection, suffering, and violence.

But this is not who we truly are. Our labels and beliefs do not define us. We can let go of our cultural conditioning and rediscover our true selves - beings who find joy in being alive, value cooperation, giving, and connection, are open to learning and playing, and strive for wholeness and love.

The answers we seek lie within ourselves. We must take the time to reflect, question, and observe - to wake up from our cultural slumber and discover our true potential as human beings.

who one is

is not in thought

not in belief

not in the past

not in the future

only now

one can exist only in the now

here is pure being

pure freedom

pure consciousness

without confines

flowing through all

the you

that is you

is now

and this now is an all-pervasive wholeness

this is the you

that was never born and will never die

and is always here

right now

here suffering ends

for suffering only comes from duality

here

there is no duality

only now

yet

we are in a

certain cultural system

unlike indigenous communities

a cultural system

that now spreads across the planet

fragmented into different names

USA

China

Russia

Israel

Iran

India

Pakistan

Chili

Nicaragua

Congo

Libya

England

France

etc…

all lurking

as the same delusional

patriarchal system

that teaches us

the ideology of separation

where we are conditioned

and formulated

to buy into its creed

its definitions

its labels

its divisions

always defining us

conforming us

imagining us

into the roles we play

our enculturated thinking

is stuck in programs

and unbeknownst to oneself,

we are enslaved to delusional beliefs

to these roles, we play

and identities

through our families and schooling

we are quickly taught not to ask deep questions

or to truly spend time in wonder

instead, we are taught

to chase after a ghost

ghosts of success

of power

of becoming someone

of being better at some

other point of time

or to cling to distractions

so as to not look at what is

the what is

lurking in the depths of one’s own bubbling despair

day in and day out

the conditioning in our youth

takes place

so that

we come to believe

that the system

a toxic hierarchal system

is normal and

simply our humanity

making us believe

in capitalism

and war

and incarceration

and poverty

and economic classes

and environmental degradation and destruction

and species lost

that unlimited growth and destruction

is just our way

as if it is a good thing

the system has deceived you and i

it is a system

that grows and grows and grows like cancer

a system that has colonized and then tried

to destroy any indigenous way of being

any wildness that exists

as fear of others dominates

this cultural matrix

in doing so

it fragments the world

into bits and pieces

into perpetuating onward this hierarchal structure

of racism

of sexism

of indentured workers

and a privileged class

this culture

manipulates us into

clinging to

hope

desire

doctrines

anything

to quiet

the deep-rooted

despair and fear

an economic system

toxic and hierarchical

craves power

and has depraved values

a system meant to delude us

to condition us

unbeknownst to us

subtly

taking us into

its promises of wealth and success

its delusion

that there are good and bad people

telling us to buy, buy, buy

telling us that you can

climb higher and higher

the economic ladder

to find the ultimate pleasures and achievements

blinding us so

that we don’t see there is no truth

of any of its beguiling jewels

that no matter how high one gets

no matter how many toys one has

no matter how much power one

believes one has

one is still isolated and suffering

and in that

all are caught in sorrow

even those who seem to have everything

and those that seem to have everything

are actually enslaved the most

and are like a spoiled child

who has too many toys

and so the drama ensues

look around

see that with money and power

You can buy violence and war

you can buy destruction

you can buy despair

you can buy depression

you can buy suffering

you can buy propaganda

you can buy politicians

you can buy ignorance

you can buy forests

you can buy hate

you can buy enslavement

yet,

anything worthwhile

you can’t buy

see

you can’t buy peace

you can’t buy sustainability

you can’t buy freedom

you can’t buy truth

you can’t buy love

you can’t buy awareness

you can’t buy freedom

nor awakening

if you want to be free

free of suffering

free of delusion

and get out of the role you play

stand still for a moment

stop and wonder with me

have you ever asked yourself….

who the hell am i

have you ever wondered….

do i really want to be free

to be in truth

are you willing to get underneath

to end

everything

you are not

to end all

beliefs

to end the

multitudes of clinging behaviors

to end the clinging to this personalized, enculturated self

of feeling separate

find out

rage into your chains

get out of the cycle of suffering

get off the cycle of contributing

to the violence of our systemic drama

money doesn’t help one here

which means that awakening is for anyone

and in this awakening

one will come to see that

power and money

are simply reflections

of insecurity and sorrow,

in letting go

you will find the greatest power of all

one that lies right Now!

only in now is truth

all else is an illusion

in the now is being

a being that is infinite in directions

a being that flows through all

this is wholeness

for pure being,

pure consciousness

is the now

nothing is holding you back,

but you

and that is also an illusion

for in truth

there is no separate you at all

only wholeness

flowing in presence

here is right action

not reacting

but an action that flows with what is

this is where the eternal field of love

resides

only in now

free

not trying to get anywhere or be anything

is love
